Valentine’s Day dance was a great success at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fallbrook

The Fallbrook Congregations of the Vista Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted their second annual Valentin es Dance at the building at 621 Stage Coach Lane in Fallbrook.
The theme for the night was “Through the Years” and celebrated the many wonderful years of music from the 40’s to the present. Many people came dressed in outfits from their favorite musical era. Both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and non-members of the church attended the dance. There were approximately 150 adults in attendance.
The evening began with “get to know you” games. A short program followed paying tribute to the big band era, and a few celebrities such as “Sonny and Cher” and “The Mommas and the Pappas”. The dance music was an eclectic mix with most coming from the late 50’s to the 80’s. A huge buffet of hors d’oeuvres and desserts was spread over a giant table where everyone could replenish their plates throughout the night.
The evening was a great success.
